Jewish Wedding - Wahoo Grill in Atlanta, GA

This is Alexa + Uwe - their love story is so incredible! They met while she was in Europe, as Uwe is German they begin a long distance relationship and eventually he was transferred here to Atlanta, GA. Since their families are from two different countries they got married over seas first so that his family could be present and then they had a big wedding celebration here at Wahoo Grill in Atlanta, GA along with all her family and friends.
Everyone had so much love for the both of them and you could feel it in the room! Alexa is such a loving person and it was definitely an emotional day where she received love and loved on all her family and friends! We started the day off getting ready at the Westin hotel downtown with her bridesmaids, then we drove to the wedding venue (Wahoo Grill) for portraits. The First Look took place right at the entrance of Wahoo Grill, which is filled with plants and looks like you are walking through a garden. It was so enchanting and the perfect place for these two to have one-on-one time! Then we had portraits with all the bridal party by the greenery and outside of the venue as the bride wanted a very simple look in the background. Since this is an urban venue, we decided to take the bride and groom on a walk around the block and get some urban portraits as well. Since the bride and groom chose to do a first look, Most of the photos were done before the ceremony.
There were several Jewish wedding traditions that took place, like signing the Ketubah before the ceremony and The Horah and breaking glass (Mazel Tov!) during the ceremony, and the Huppah celebratory dance during reception time. One unique vendor that Alexa chose for her wedding was to hire King of Pops since it is very iconic in Atlanta, GA.
