A little about the Bride & Groom
The couple met through online dating apps. After dating for four years, Tim proposed in front of a beautiful waterfall. Yanny was very nervous because they were in front of an audience, but the happiness was bigger than that, of course, she said YES!!!!. Yanni was born and raised in Hong Kong and Tim is Korean but was born in the U.S. Even with the differences in culture they loved getting to know each other and they really enjoy spending time together and going on hikes and watching their favorite TV show Impractical Jokers, so they tied the knot on March 19th, 2022 in Midtown Atlanta, Georgia.
Yanny reached out to us to capture her wedding day and we finally met during their engagement session at Downtown Norcross, you can see their engagement photos HERE. They brought their beautiful dog and we got to know each other and talk about their dreamy wedding day plans!
Their wedding took place at the PEACHTREE ROAD METHODIST CHURCH in Atlanta, GA. We loved capturing this wedding as we got to experience their wedding traditions and that was so unique. After the ceremony at the church in Midtown Atlanta, the couple rented out a Rolls Royce from Fortune Concierge to take them to the reception where they planned to celebrate with their close family and friends. The reception was held at ROYAL CHINA RESTAURANT where they served amazing food and offered a beautiful space for the couple to perform their wedding traditions and celebrate the rest of the night. We love the decor at Royal China Restaurant that you can see down below, everything was so delicate and carefully thought out thanks to Yanny and Tim’s awesome coordinator Kim from The Event ATL. The bride & groom performed their Korean Tea Ceremony, Pyebaek with the help from Atlanta Hanbok which is also where they got their traditional Korean clothes. It was a great opportunity for our team to capture every moment of this celebration and to experience these traditions that we don’t normally see on American traditional weddings. We love adding diversity to our portfolio and we are proud to share this one of Yanny and Tim here.
